The Fine Print.

Consultation

Booking: Once you’ve completed the inquiry form, you’ll receive a message through your preferred method of contact confirming that I’ve received it, and a request for the consultation fee amount (65.00). Consultation requests will not be scheduled without a paid consultation fee.

Punctuality: On consultation day, clients are allowed a 15-minute window to contact me by email, Instagram, or Signal before having their appointment cancelled. In the event of a No-Show, you will forfeit your consultation fee.

Cancellation: Life happens. If it’s an emergency, I’m happy to work with you! Otherwise, clients have up to 48 hours in advance to cancel and reschedule their appointments using their consultation fee. Cancelling up to 24 hours results in a 50% fee return, and same-day cancellations result in complete forfeiture of your consultation fee.

Deposit: 50% of the project total is due at the end of the consultation. This deposit is nonrefundable.

Project Completion

Contact: During the process of completion, I will be available through Signal, email, and Instagram. If the need to schedule a face-to-face meeting arises, my hourly fee will apply.

Payment: The other half of the project total will be due upon receipt of the first draft.

Revisions: Each project includes one full round of revisions.

Turnaround Time: My regular turnaround time for a first draft is around 2-3 weeks. Work requested outside this window will result rush in charges of 50-100% of the overall total.

Invoicing: Should you request an invoice, you will have 24 hours from receipt of the document to sign and return before being sent reminders.

Client Responsibilities & Scope Creep

It is incumbent upon the client to dictate all relevant information to the project. Help me help you! The goal is to get the finished product as close to perfection as possible, and for revisions to include fine tuning and finishing touches related to tone, accuracy, flow, etc. Bulk information received outside the period of consultation and a first draft precipitate the necessity for a project expansion. In this event, we will renegotiate a deadline, a change order, and additional fees.

Retainer Agreements

The terms of retainer agreements are negotiated by requested consultation, and dictated by contract on a case-by-case basis.
